The Chamber of Shattered Stars

This project is for loved ones who have passed away, using crystals as a way to reflect on death. At first, crystals and death may seem very different, but both unfold beyond human control. As grief fades, it can bring guilt or fear, as if the memory of the deceased is being lost, yet this softening is a natural part of facing death. Even as sadness changes, the presence of the departed remains, like a small crystal quietly shining in memory. Crystals grow slowly and unpredictably, forming shapes of unexpected beauty. The work takes the form of altars, imagined as shelters for souls where sadness, memory, and transformation coexist.
